Volunteer
Volunteers bring the compassion of Clarehouse to life, offering hands-on service through welcoming hospitality and comforting presence. From direct guest care to cooking, cleaning, gardening, and greeting families at the Welcome Desk, each volunteer helps keep our home running smoothly and full of warmth.
We also welcome groups—faith communities, youth organizations, schools, clubs, and businesses—for special projects such as providing meals, assisting with bulk mailings, or joining our seasonal outdoor cleanups.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities
Our Teen Volunteer Program (ages 14–18) gives young people a chance to serve in meaningful ways while learning about compassion, teamwork, and community. Teen volunteers can assist at the Welcome Desk, help in the kitchen, or support household and garden projects. Orientation with a parent or guardian is required, and ongoing training ensures a rewarding experience for both the volunteer and the families we serve.
