Through concrete illustrations, we will demystify common pre- and post-death experiences from the point of view of a person who is dying as well as those surrounding them. Our discussion will explore our natural tendencies to "should" and "should not" our way through these processes.
Kelley Scott, BSN, RN, CHPN is the Founder and Executive Director at Clarehouse. Her leadership is informed by her 20 year history with Clarehouse and her expertise from the ground up with the model. With 38 years as a nurse, she cherishes time at the bedside with guests and families and considers sharing these final moments an incredible privilege.
Jennifer Clark, MD, is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician and Education & Strategy Consultant at Clarehouse. Her 11 years volunteering as Medical Liaison at Clarehouse has positioned her at the bedside of thousands of people who are dying. She brings an empathic wisdom to walking the journey with individuals and families.
